My Take on the Tucson Tragedy

Category: News and InformationMARKAMinc @ 2:31 pm

All the BS, and that is what it has been, coming from the libertards trying to paint this as a problem stemming from conservative views on radio, TV, and the internet, is typical lies and as I said, BS, that they, the real violent ones always spew. The person that did this was sick, plain and simple. Blaming anyones words for this is invalid. The influence he might have received from anyone to be violent could only be from the violence that is preached by the same ones that now try to blame their opposition, but that is normal for them and is historically supported from the early Nazi and Stallin age all the way thru the last presidency with all the violence that was blasted at Bush then. You could even say that the current administration has made its share of calls for violence, and the well known violent preachers VanJones and Piven do it even now!! But blaming anyone, even those that are actually calling for violence, is not right in this case. He was sick, he is to blame. PERIOD!

But lets look a little deeper….why did he get that many shots off, and then have to be tackled by some unarmed bystanders? That should not have happened. If we had followed the teachings and beliefs that our founders did, there would have been much less bloodshed, and perhaps, he would NOT have even tried to do what he did, because he would have expected to be stopped before he had a chance to kill anyone, or at least to have had less success in his terrible attack, because he would have been sure that many in the crowd would be armed and capable of using those arms.

I submit the following for example:

"Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that's good."
George Washington
First President of the United States

"The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand arms, like laws, discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as property. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside … Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them."
Thomas Paine

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them."
Richard Henry Lee
American Statesman, 1788

"The great object is that every man be armed." and "Everyone who is able may have a gun."
Patrick Henry
American Patriot

"Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under our direction and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?"
Patrick Henry
American Patriot

"Those who hammer their guns into plowshares will plow for those who do not."
Thomas Jefferson
Third President of the United States

"The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that … it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; … "
Thomas Jefferson
letter to Justice John Cartwright, June 5, 1824. ME 16:45.

"The best we can help for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."
Alexander Hamilton
The Federalist Papers at 184-8

And from the Supreme Court:

Supreme Court ruling: The Constitution of the United States is the Supreme Law of the Land. Any Law that is repugnant to the Constitution is Null and Void of Law. Marbury Vs. Madison 5 US 137

Supreme Court Ruling not yet overturned thus the Supreme Law of the Land;

“ A State may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the Federal Constitution. No State shall convert a Liberty into a priviledge, License it, and attach a fee to it. Murdock Vs. Pennsylvania 319 US 105

Supreme Court ruling not overturned is Supreme law of the land;
“If a State converts a Liberty into a Priviledge, the Citizen can engage in the right with impunity. Shuttlesworth Vs. Birmingham 373 US 262

Supreme Court Ruling; “ If you have relied on prior decisions of the Supreme Court, You have a perfect defense for willfulness.” US Vs Bishop 412 US 346

Supreme Court Ruling; “An Unconstitutional act is not a law; It confers no rights; it imposes no duties; It affords no protection; It creates no office; It is, in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it has never been passed.” Norton Vs. Shelby County 118 US 425

Supreme Court Ruling; “The claim and exercise of a constitutional right cannot be converted into a crime.” US Vs. Miller 230 F2d 486

Supreme Court Ruling; “ Constitutional provisions for the security of person and property should be liberally construed. The Court is to protect against any encroachment of a Constitutionally secured Liberty.” Boyd Vs. US 116 US 616

Supreme Court Ruling; “ Officers of the court have no immunity from liability when violating a Constitutional right and may be held personally liable for damages under 42 U.S.C.A., 1983; For they are deemed to know the law. Knowing that they will be liable for all injurious conduct creates incentive for officials to err on the side of protecting citizens Constitutional rights.” Owens Vs. Independence 445 US 621, 100 SCT 1398
Main Vs. Thiboutot 448 US 1, 100 SCT 2502
Hafer Vs. Melo 502 US 21, (1991)

As it has been said time and time again, it is the ARMED public that is safe. We will always have crazies among us, it is up to the rest of us to keep those crazies, both the mentaly disturbed, and the politicaly disturbed…as in liberal gun hatters, in check!

PS:From Mike Piccione
Editor, Guns & Patriots

Prince George's County in Maryland borders Washington, DC. Democrats dominate the county and 88.87% of the residents voted for Obama. What you did not hear in the news was that there were 13 shootings in the first 13 days of this year in PG County. Why not? While the press is eager to paint Jared Loughner, the Arizona gunman, as the face of conservative talk radio and associate him to Republicans they completely ignored the murder spree in an area dominated by Democrats. Why isn't the press painting the picture of this overwhelmingly Democratic county as the face of today's Democrat – violent and out of control? Can we assume that if 90% of the people vote Democrat that there is the highest probability that those responsible for this killing spree are Obama supporters? What would the mainstream media say if this occurred in a county that was overwhelmingly Republican? They would say it was fueled by Republican hate. I guess the murder mess in a Democratic stronghold that borders our Nation's Capital needs to be ignored.

American Hunters and The 2nd Amendment

Category: News and InformationMARKAMinc @ 3:55 pm

 The World's Largest Army — America's Hunters?

The state of Wisconsin has gone an entire deer hunting season without someone getting killed. That's great. There were over 600,000 hunters.  Allow me to restate that number.  Over the last two months, the eighth largest army in the world – more men under arms than Iran; more than France and Germany combined – deployed to the woods of a single American state to help keep the deer menace at bay. But that pales in comparison to the 750,000 who are in the woods of Pennsylvania this week. Michigan 's 700,000 hunters have now returned home. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it is literally the case that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. America will forever be safe from foreign invasion of troops with that kind of home-grown firepower.

Hunting – it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national security!

NOW YOU KNOW WHY THE LIBERAL ANTI-GUN GROUPS WANT TO TAKE OUR GUNS AWAY!!  THEY ARE SCARED OF US!!

On the Second Amendment, Don’t Believe Obama

But his real record, based on votes taken, political associations, and long standing positions, shows that Barack Obama is a serious threat to Second Amendment liberties. Don’t listen to his campaign rhetoric! Look instead to what he has said and done during his entire political career.

Obama
FACT: Barack Obama opposes four of the five Supreme Court justices who affirmed an individual right to keep and bear arms. He voted against the confirmation of Alito and Roberts and he has stated he would not have appointed Thomas or Scalia.17
FACT: Barack Obama voted for an Illinois State Senate bill to ban and confiscate “assault weapons,” but the bill was so poorly crafted, it would have also banned most semi-auto and single and double barrel shotguns commonly used by sportsmen.18

FACT: Barack Obama wants to re-impose the failed and discredited Clinton Gun Ban.15

FACT: Barack Obama supports gun owner licensing and gun registration.6
FACT: Barack Obama refused to sign a friend-of-the-court Brief in support of individual Second Amendment rights in the Heller case.
FACT: Barack Obama opposes Right to Carry laws.7
FACT: Barack Obama was a member of the Board of Directors of the Joyce Foundation, the leading source of funds for anti-gun organizations and “research.”8
FACT: Barack Obama supported a proposal to ban gun stores within 5 miles of a school or park, which would eliminate almost every gun store in America.9
FACT: Barack Obama voted not to notify gun owners when the state of Illinois did records searches on them.10
FACT: Barack Obama voted against a measure to lower the Firearms Owners Identification card age minimum from 21 to 18, a measure designed to assist young people in the military.11
FACT: Barack Obama favors a ban on standard capacity magazines.12
FACT: Barack Obama supports mandatory micro-stamping.13
FACT: Barack Obama supports mandatory waiting periods.2
FACT: Barack Obama supports repeal of the Tiahrt Amendment, which prohibits information on gun traces collected by the BATFE from being used in reckless lawsuits against firearm dealers and manufacturers.14
FACT: Barack Obama supports one-gun-a-month handgun purchase restrictions.16
FACT: Barack Obama supports a ban on inexpensive handguns.9
FACT: Barack Obama supports a ban on the resale of police issued firearms, even if the money is going to police departments for replacement equipment.9
FACT: Barack Obama supports mandatory firearm training requirements for all gun owners and a ban on gun ownership for persons under the age of 21.9

The 2nd amendment is there in case our government abuses the others.
