The passing of an Old Friend

Category: News and InformationMARKAMinc @ 8:30 am

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
Why the early bird gets the worm;
Life isn't always fair;
And maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughters, Responsibility and Honor; and his sons, Reason and Loyalty.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;

I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I'm A Victim

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

I miss him and morn him so very much!

The Horrors of HB3200

Category: News and InformationMARKAMinc @ 8:30 am

THIS IS THE 2ND OFFICIAL WHO HAS OUTLINED THESE PARTS OF THE CARE BILL

Judge Kithil of Marble Falls, TX on HB3200 He highlighted pages that are most egregious

                  JUDGE KITHIL wrote:

** Page 50/section 152:  The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. Residents, even if they are here illegally.

** Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

** Page 65/section 164:  The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations
(such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now – ACORN).

** Page 203/line 14-15:  The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax.
(How could anybody in their right mind come up with that?)

** Page 241 and 253:  Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.

** Page 272. Section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age.

** Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.

** Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning consultations.  Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. (Death counseling..)

** Page 429,  line 13-25:  The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

                  HAD ENOUGH????
              Judge Kithil then goes on:

"Finally, it is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of Congress.  Members of Congress are already exempt from the Social Security system, and have a well-funded private plan that covers their retirement needs. If they were on our Social Security plan, I believe they would find a very quick 'fix' to make the plan financially sound for their future."

Kill this thing PLEASE !!!!!!!

Preteen vs Home Invaders

Category: News and InformationMARKAMinc @ 4:35 pm

BUTTE, MONTANA

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.

It seems the two crooks never learned two things, they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David 0'Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news……..?

An 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself……against two murderous, illegal immigrants…….and she wins,
She is still alive. Now THAT is Gun Control!

Thought for the day….
Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'

Amen

My Take on the Tucson Tragedy

Category: News and InformationMARKAMinc @ 2:31 pm

All the BS, and that is what it has been, coming from the libertards trying to paint this as a problem stemming from conservative views on radio, TV, and the internet, is typical lies and as I said, BS, that they, the real violent ones always spew. The person that did this was sick, plain and simple. Blaming anyones words for this is invalid. The influence he might have received from anyone to be violent could only be from the violence that is preached by the same ones that now try to blame their opposition, but that is normal for them and is historically supported from the early Nazi and Stallin age all the way thru the last presidency with all the violence that was blasted at Bush then. You could even say that the current administration has made its share of calls for violence, and the well known violent preachers VanJones and Piven do it even now!! But blaming anyone, even those that are actually calling for violence, is not right in this case. He was sick, he is to blame. PERIOD!

But lets look a little deeper….why did he get that many shots off, and then have to be tackled by some unarmed bystanders? That should not have happened. If we had followed the teachings and beliefs that our founders did, there would have been much less bloodshed, and perhaps, he would NOT have even tried to do what he did, because he would have expected to be stopped before he had a chance to kill anyone, or at least to have had less success in his terrible attack, because he would have been sure that many in the crowd would be armed and capable of using those arms.

I submit the following for example:

"Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that's good."
George Washington
First President of the United States

"The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand arms, like laws, discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as property. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside … Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them."
Thomas Paine

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them."
Richard Henry Lee
American Statesman, 1788

"The great object is that every man be armed." and "Everyone who is able may have a gun."
Patrick Henry
American Patriot

"Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under our direction and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?"
Patrick Henry
American Patriot

"Those who hammer their guns into plowshares will plow for those who do not."
Thomas Jefferson
Third President of the United States

"The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that … it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; … "
Thomas Jefferson
letter to Justice John Cartwright, June 5, 1824. ME 16:45.

"The best we can help for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."
Alexander Hamilton
The Federalist Papers at 184-8

And from the Supreme Court:

Supreme Court ruling: The Constitution of the United States is the Supreme Law of the Land. Any Law that is repugnant to the Constitution is Null and Void of Law. Marbury Vs. Madison 5 US 137

Supreme Court Ruling not yet overturned thus the Supreme Law of the Land;

“ A State may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the Federal Constitution. No State shall convert a Liberty into a priviledge, License it, and attach a fee to it. Murdock Vs. Pennsylvania 319 US 105

Supreme Court ruling not overturned is Supreme law of the land;
“If a State converts a Liberty into a Priviledge, the Citizen can engage in the right with impunity. Shuttlesworth Vs. Birmingham 373 US 262

Supreme Court Ruling; “ If you have relied on prior decisions of the Supreme Court, You have a perfect defense for willfulness.” US Vs Bishop 412 US 346

Supreme Court Ruling; “An Unconstitutional act is not a law; It confers no rights; it imposes no duties; It affords no protection; It creates no office; It is, in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it has never been passed.” Norton Vs. Shelby County 118 US 425

Supreme Court Ruling; “The claim and exercise of a constitutional right cannot be converted into a crime.” US Vs. Miller 230 F2d 486

Supreme Court Ruling; “ Constitutional provisions for the security of person and property should be liberally construed. The Court is to protect against any encroachment of a Constitutionally secured Liberty.” Boyd Vs. US 116 US 616

Supreme Court Ruling; “ Officers of the court have no immunity from liability when violating a Constitutional right and may be held personally liable for damages under 42 U.S.C.A., 1983; For they are deemed to know the law. Knowing that they will be liable for all injurious conduct creates incentive for officials to err on the side of protecting citizens Constitutional rights.” Owens Vs. Independence 445 US 621, 100 SCT 1398
Main Vs. Thiboutot 448 US 1, 100 SCT 2502
Hafer Vs. Melo 502 US 21, (1991)

As it has been said time and time again, it is the ARMED public that is safe. We will always have crazies among us, it is up to the rest of us to keep those crazies, both the mentaly disturbed, and the politicaly disturbed…as in liberal gun hatters, in check!
